Fort Myers, FL – In the month of March, DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts is showcasing the work of Cloud Kent. The exhibition, entitled A Lover’s Symphony, features a series of recent artworks inspired in the artist’s love for life and unity. An opening reception is scheduled for the evening of Friday, March 6, 2026, from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. The exhibition will be on display until March 29, 2026.
Cloud Kent works in acrylics, oils, spray paint, and other media to create works that speak directly from the heart. His art carries messages of freedom, innocence, resilience, and transformation; inviting audiences to reconnect with their true selves. Born in New York City as Kenneth Jeremiah Gomez, Kent sought inspiration and strength from both of his parents but in very contrasting ways. His mother, a police officer, dedicated her life to upholding the law, whereas his father was imprisoned for a crime. At the age of 25, adopting his artistic name, Kent underwent open heart surgery – an experience that changed his life and artistic direction.
The title of this show, “A Lover’s Symphony,” came to me as I awoke one morning. – says Kent, whose painting have attracted many collectors who are drawn to both the raw energy and spiritual resonance. “I want to bring people together through my love story of life and harmonize through that amor; amidst the chaos of this world. Let us all find unity in love amongst one another and that’s the lover’s symphony.” – he concludes.
Kent pours his heart and soul onto every painting. His inspirational message of love is contagious and boldly displayed with beautiful colors and textures. Even though his work is deeply personal, one can find a direct connection with these fantastic pieces.
