DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts is inviting all Southwest Florida artists to submit artworks for this group exhibition, intended to honor the life and legacy of Mexican Surrealist painter Frida Kahlo.
The exhibition will open to the public on Friday, July 3, 2020 with an opening reception in conjunction with the Fort Myers Art Walk event.
IMPORTANT:
Delivery of submission days are: June 20, 21, 26 and ends Saturday, June 27– during business hours.
Artists can submit up to two pieces for the show.
This is not a juried exhibition, but pieces not meeting the basic quality standards of the gallery will be rejected.
There is a non-refundable fee of $10.00 per entry.
Maximum canvas or piece height and length is 20 inches on any side.
All submissions must be properly finished and presentable for sale, as well as have the proper hanging wire, if needed.
Pick up of any unsold artwork is Saturday, August 1, 2020 during business hours. Any pieces left in the gallery for more than 60 days will become property of DAAS CO-OP.
A Guest Artist agreement must be completed upon delivery of artworks.
IMPORTANT: The theme of this exhibition is Frida Kahlo and her relationship to nature, flowers, beauty, etc. It is important that this theme is present in your work.
All artwork on display for this exhibition MUST be for sale. We will not accept NFS pieces.
NOTE: DAAS CO-OP Member artists are also encouraged and welcomed to particpate. There is no entry fee for active members.
