Fort Myers, FL – In the month of September, DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts is hosting a new guest artist exhibition at their new location in the Alliance for the Arts campus. Artist David Hammel presents an impressive collection of ceramics inspired by Florida’s wildlife. The opening reception is scheduled for Friday, September 6, 2024, from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. The exhibition will be on display through September 29, 2024.
Hammel’s recent series of ceramic vases are created using several techniques, including slab building, relief sculpture, illustration, and painting. The focus of the majority of the vases is the Florida wildlife theme.
DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts is located at 10051 McGregor BLVD, STE 104 in Fort Myers, FL (adjacent to Arts & Eats Café) in the Alliance for the Arts Campus.
