Guest Artist Submission

At DAAS CO-OP, we pride in providing opportunities and support to our local artists, as well as artists from all over the country and beyond.

The guest artist exhibition space is approximately one wall at (W x H) 14′ x 18′, two walls at 10′ x 9′, two walls at 4′ x 9′ and one wall at 14′ x 9′. The space has six private artist studios, which are consistently open to the public and are not part of the exhibition space.

Every month, specifically on first Fridays, we host an opening reception and meet & greet with the guest artist(s) selected. Exhibiting at DAAS CO-OP is free, but the selected guest artist(s) can choose to enhance their exhibition experience by pre-paying for one or more of the following gallery services:

Additional Wine for your guests! The gallery provides two complimentary bottles of wine (750ml) for the event. The gallery will provide an additional 4 bottles (750ml, gallery’s choice) for a one-time pre-paid fee of $35.

Promotional Video for Social Media Plaforms and Gallery’s Website. The gallery will produce a high-quality video (aprox. 3 mins) with reel versions (aprox. 50 secs) formatted for social media platforms and website. The videos can include short interviews with the artist(s), studio shots and artwork imagery. Shooting deadline is at least 30 days before the event. Additional reels are produced by the gallery after set up and during/after the opening reception. Cost for all videos is $150 (pre-paid).

Post Cards and Printed Promotions. We will design exhibition post cards, featuring the exhibition artwork, promoting the specifics of the exhibition and the guest artist. The cards are double-sided, professionally produced and designed by the gallery. Measurements are 4 x 6 inches and they close .60 cents each (min. order 100). Must order and pre-pay at least 45 days before the opening reception date.

Please allow at least two weeks for a response from our gallery’s selecting committee. Please understand there are several exhibitions already scheduled. If selected, the committee will email you with available months for your exhibition. Coordination starts once the gallery receives your acceptance. All guest artists must sign an exhibition agreement with a 50/50% commission. All other details, such as dates and deadlines, will be provided during the exhibition coordination. 

If you elected exhibition enhancements, please expect to receive an invoice from DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery soon after your acceptance. In order to receive the enhancements requested, the invoice must be paid in full at least 45 days before the opening reception.
