The Union Artist Studios is a collaborative space formed by local working artists who share a common mission: to promote and support the arts in Southwest Florida. Established in 2012 by renowned artist David Acevedo, the Union serves as a dynamic production space featuring multiple private studios alongside a shared gallery area where artists showcase their work.
Recently incorporated into the newly branded Art Triad of Fort Myers, the Union has become a vibrant hub for both artists and art enthusiasts, welcoming visitors every Saturday during open studio hours. The Triad is anchored by three creative spaces: The Union Artist Studios, DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery, and Arts & Eats Café—together forming a unique artistic triangle that fuels creativity and community engagement.
Today, the Union is home to several artists, including David Acevedo himself, who has dedicated more than 25 years to advancing arts and culture in the city. Within this section of the Edwards Building—where the entire Art Triad resides—artists Xavier Brignoni, Erik Schlake, Julia Da Rocha, Sonia Rosa, Brian Lindemann, Joshua Greer, Diana Ripoll, and Dominick Tascher maintain their studio spaces.
Inside the Arts & Eats Café, artists John Rizza, Kelly Morrison, Lesley Morrow, Kate Swanstrom, and Stacey Brown also work from their individual studios. Meanwhile, within DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery, Danielle Branchaud, Bernie Hyland, Brianna Jackson, Wendy White, Roland Ruocco, and Eric Radde each occupy their own creative spaces.
Each Union artist brings a distinct style and creative energy to the collective. The result is an enriching environment filled with exceptional artwork and fine crafts—an ever-evolving space that contributes daily to the cultural vitality of the community.
