Annual Christmas Bazaar and Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest

Fort Myers, FL – The holiday season is getting a creative twist as DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts presents its annual Christmas Bazaar, a festive celebration of local art, handmade treasures, and one-of-a-kind holiday gifts. The festivities kick off with a special opening reception and Christmas party on Friday, December 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, as part of the SoCo First Friday celebration. The Christmas Bazaar will remain on display through December 27, 2026.

Throughout December, DAAS CO-OP transforms into a festive, market-style shopping experience featuring an eclectic selection of Christmas-inspired artwork, fine crafts, handmade creations, unique gifts, and more. This year’s Bazaar places an even greater emphasis on smaller, affordable treasures, offering visitors plenty of distinctive gift ideas for the art lovers, collectors, and creative spirits on their holiday shopping lists.

The Bazaar offers a refreshing alternative to conventional, mass-produced holiday merchandise, encouraging shoppers to support local artists and artisans while giving gifts that are genuinely unique. Adding to the holiday charm, the gallery’s Christmas tree will feature an assortment of handcrafted ornaments, each offering an affordable way to bring a little artistic flair to the season.

And, of course, no Christmas celebration would be complete without a little holiday fun! Guests are invited to participate in the gallery’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest during the December 4 opening celebration. Participants can enter by registering and having their photos taken at the designated contest area. A special committee will select the winner, who will receive an original watercolor painting by artist David Acevedo. The winner will be announced on DAAS CO-OP’s social media pages.

Whether you’re searching for a special holiday gift, looking to support local artists, or simply in the mood for some festive fun, the DAAS CO-OP Christmas Bazaar offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season creatively.
