Fort Myers, FL – In the month of July, DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts is presenting the masterpieces of late artist Steve Turner. An opening reception is scheduled for the evening of Friday, July 3, 2026, from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. The exhibition will be on display until August 2, 2026.
Steve B. Turner (1957-2023) was born in Lima, OH and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. As a young man, he moved to California, professionally skateboarding and surfing, while honing his innate artistic skills. He later returned to Florida and settled in Fort Myers, where he became a renowned artist and home designer with his companies, Bradford & Company Design Group and SIM Art Gallery. His artistic and architectural contributions can be seen worldwide, including in Panama, Costa Rica, and across the US. He was especially proud of designing and leading the project for Cape Harbor in Cape Coral, FL where his artwork was proudly displayed at Rumrunners.
“He was an incredible artist, father, husband, and friend. He was passionate about everything he did, and that shines through every single one of his paintings. He loved fishing and being out on the water- something that is clear through his work. This love of marine life and nature was a very important part of his life. His love, passion, and talent truly allowed him to see the world differently.” – says Sam Turner, son of the artist.
We are honored to have the opportunity to share Steve Turner’s amazing artwork, and in turn a large part of who this amazing artist was.
