Fort Myers, FL – In the month of July, DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts is hosting a beautiful guest artist exhibition at their new location in the Alliance for the Arts campus. Artist Shah Hadjebi presents his recent watercolor creations, with an opening reception scheduled for Friday, July 5, 2024, from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. The exhibition will be on display through July 28, 2024.
Shah is a multiple award-winning Southwest Florida watercolor artist. He graduated from Syracuse University in the late 1980’s and comes from a family of artists, fine artists, architects, interior designers, industrial designers, photographers, and furniture designers. Although he has been painting for the past 20 years, his first artistic outlet was music – but in time he realized that painting was his most natural artistic expression and passion.
Shah paints a wide variety of subjects from animals and portraits to classic automobiles, still life and architecture. Living in Southwest Florida has supplied him with an endless array of topics like wading birds on the beach and at wildlife sanctuaries, classic automobiles at local car shows as well as popular architectural landmarks all around. Shah’s main goal is to bring some presence and mindfulness into this hectic world and to live a life where his inner and outer purpose are aligned.
This exhibition will showcase a variety of watercolor pieces, created in recent months. The artist will be present during the opening reception for a meet and greet with all the attendees.
