Yvonne Krystman

Abstract mixed media, ceramic artist, photographer, and jewelry maker

She developed an innovative method of sculpting various, common and uncommon materials to create three-dimensional paintings. She usually uses a limited color palette to emphasize rich textures. She invites the viewer to experience her pieces not only by using the sense of sight but also the sense of touch. It creates a direct involvement with its viewers, who are urged to evolve from a condition of mere spectatorship.

Yvonne Krystman started her artistic carrier as an art teacher in Warsaw, Poland and then earned her Commercial Art degree in Windsor, Canada.

She has been exhibiting in various cities across the USA and Canada, and won several awards and artist residencies. She has shown her work at the prestigious Aqua
Miami (2016) and Miami Spectrum (2018), Art Basel’s satellite shows.

In August 2018 Yvonne started art4wear, a wearable art line, featuring her artwork printed on various garments.
